isrChat came about when i was struggling to find a chat application that would allow anonymous signup and would provide end-to-end encryption security.

I posted the following on Reddit(c):

“I’d like a chat program very much like Whatsap and it’s security, but I don’t want to give the person I chat with my phone number. I like the interface, text, video, pictures, and backup (history), just not giving out the phone number or email.

I’m thinking it would be 1) sign up, 2) get a unique user token, 3) share that token with someone you want to chat with. They would sign up and provide your token to open the chat.

If it doesn’t exist, shouldn’t be a major app to develop.”

This website is all about that need.

Maybe soon i’ll get around to creating an app that does this, but until then, isrChat will have to suffice.
